A group of veterans volunteer to repair mobility devices for their fellow veterans. Electric wheelchairs can cost $20,000, but family members often donate old chairs to Mobility 4 Vets. The group fixes them up and sells them for just a few hundred dollars. In some cases, they’ll give them away to ensure others can get around.
