Belle Plaine Area Museum brings artist's work to his former hometown.
L.A. artist John Schlue learned to wander outside his comfort zone as a child in Belle Plaine, Iowa. As an adult, John's exploration takes place in a Los Angeles art studio where he combines paint with textiles in large-scale works. So when the Belle Plaine Area Museum decided to bring modern art to main street they took the opportunity to celebrate one of their own.
