Mental Health Programs, Entrepreneurship in the Berkshires, Ventilator Design

The “GRIT” Program will be opening new residential programs in Springfield and Holyoke that focus on substance abuse and mental health. Joshua and Kristen Kanter left their careers behind and relocated to the Berkshires to start their own furniture and design business. A team of Smith College staff and alums of the engineering department recently won an international design contest.
