We don't have enough money to continue funding the campaign.

I just wanted to make Portland a better place.
♪ Hello, Mr. Richmond.
RICHMOND (distorted): For me to support your campaign, I need you to do something for me.
Give up on your ideals.
BASIL: So he said he'll endorse my campaign.
All I have to do is stop representing the community, stop believing Islam, and change my name to Blake.
BOY: But this is against everything you stand for.
BASIL: This could be really great for me.
- Since when is this just about you?
♪ (birds chirping) ♪ (purring) (meowing) Don't worry, Evergreen.
I'll never let anything happen to you.
(Evergreen yelps) ♪ (briefcase locks snap) (cheers and applause) Citizens of Portland, I've decided to give up on all my values and my religion and change my name to Blake.
"Blake for Mayor."
(cheers and applause) Thank you very much.
BOY: I saw your speech last night.
- What'd you think?
♪ You just completely sold out the Muslim community.
It was a lot of money-- a briefcase full of money.
BOY: I don't know if I can continue working with you like this anymore.
♪ That's it?
After ten years of working together?
I'll never be able to support what you do, but I'll always be your friend.
♪ Thank you for voting me as your mayor!
(cheers and applause) (marching band playing) RICHMOND (distorted): I need you to cause more climate change in Portland.
Consider it done.
♪ ♪ BOY: Evergreen, I failed to protect you from climate change, but I will avenge you.
Blake...
I'm coming for you.
♪ (people talking in background) You killed my baby, Evergreen.
And now I'm here... to make you pay.
♪ ♪ BOY (distorted): No!
(bow clatters) ♪ BASIL: I've come so far.
The city's mine.
There's no turning back.
