A growing number of American adults now do not identify with any religious group.
In 2014, the Pew Research Center published a comprehensive survey on the U.S. Religious Landscape. The results showed an interesting trend in recent years -- a growing number of American adults do not identify with any religious group. Defined as atheist, agnostic or unaffiliated, these "Nones" now account for approximately 23% of the U.S. adult population. Our guests analyze the reasons why.
