The Federal Violence Against Women Act is providing Kentucky with $2 million in turn, that money is being given to 32 organizations across the state that work to combat domestic violence.
The state is also working on a project to help gather accurate data about domestic abuse in Kentucky to help make policy recommendations that could prevent people from becoming victims and improve outcomes for survivors.
