More than $25 million is going to the Kentucky Division of Management.
Most of that money, 18 million, is from FEMA.
The rest comes from state funds.
The money is used to reimburse contract workers who hauled off more than 140,000 tons of debris following the flooding in 2022.
This is the third large payment made by FEMA for clean up work in eastern Kentucky.
