Dramatic increase in number of domestic violence victims

Network of hotels now used along with traditional shelters

Over the past year and a half, domestic violence programs have responded to "nearly four to five times the number of domestic violence survivors and the number of victims coming forward seeking services," said Nicole Morella, director of policy and education at the New Jersey Coalition to End Domestic Violence.
