Saranac river trail is expanded, and a memorial tree house built in memory of a young boy.

Saranac River Trail Expansion: A new community tree house named in honor of Max Moore, a little boy with severe physical disabilities, opened this fall along the banks of the Saranac River in Plattsburgh. The tree house was specially designed with ramp to allow access to people with disabilities. The city is also planning to expand the trail the tree house was built on to downtown Saranac Lake.
