Mountain Lake Journal: Special Heroin Forum

Special | 58m 45s

Heroin has undergone a resurrection. A powerful opioid drug and a scourge.

Heroin has undergone a resurrection. A powerful opioid drug that was once the scourge of inner cities is now widely available, cheap and being abused in middle class suburbs and even the most rural areas of Northern New York and Vermont. Many who have gotten hooked on prescription medications, especially painkillers, are now turning to heroin. That in turn, has created a public health crisis.
