- In rural communities, there are people that look like me and they have their stories and they have their journey to what got them here.

- [Narrator] Our communities are engaging in online screening events, conversations and opportunities to learn more about each other's journey through, and to our state.

Dear Minnesota, our multimedia letter writing project evokes memories, emotion and deep reflection.

- As a black woman and as an African American woman, my journey started back in the sixties and seventies when my father migrated from Kansas to Minnesota.

- [Narrator] More voices are contributing to our history and who we are as Minnesotans.
