(intro music begins) - All my family members wouldn't have never thought in a million years that I would be driving a truck.

And just to see me out here doing it.

It's like, you know, it's- They proud.

They really proud.

You know, I came to trucking as kind of like last effort to just make some money.

I didn't know what to expect, but once I got my license, I didn't even want to like go home.

It was like, it wasn't nothing at home.

(pop music plays) Now I could go up to 55, I'm crushing my clutch.

Go down to 10 and it'll automatically go up to 13th gear.

Other people may do it differently.

This is how it works for me.

The only time that I get to the high or low gear is when I'm going up and down the hills..

When I first started on YouTube and came out here, people was like, oh my goodness we didn't even realize it was women out here that drove trucks like that.

(engine running) Every day I do, I gotta let them know what I'm doing so I have to now go on duty, fully.

I always run into people that I speak to.

But as a female, you always gotta try to protect yourself out here.

So I don't try to be too friendly with people.

This is a cold industry.

You could die out here and nobody would, some of these drivers don't even have enough money that if they die, they couldn't even afford to get shipped home.

What affected me the most was a female driver found dead in New Orleans in the- in her truck.

Nobody checked on her for like three days and they still don't know what happened to her.

And it's like, that could be me, you know?

I'm out here on this road every, every day.

I travel up and down this road at night, going to truck stops, going to rest areas, and to have a child 23, 24 years old and can't nobody tell you what happened to your daughter, your son, or whatever the case may be.

After nine years of being married, I'm not going to be married anymore.

That I got to get a divorce.

And I tried everything that I could do.

I did what I was supposed to do.

I'm paying for this truck.

I'm doing everything that I'm supposed to do.

And continue to focus on what it is I came in this industry to do.

And I've gone too far to give up now.
