Today, we will see whether Eagles or Hawks move on to the quarterfinals and then perhaps, fly all the way to the season eight championship and the $1,000 grand prize.
You see what we did there?
In our seventh match, we have a newcomer taking out a veteran, the Eagles of Mount Ararat in Topsham are making their first appearance on the show, and they would love to also make it all the way to the championship, but Marshwood is here for their sixth time and hope to add a second championship to their record.
(drumming music) Let's get things going by meeting the teams.
For Mount Ararat, we have Brady, Charles, Lyra, and Finn with alternates Ryan and Isaac, and coached by Jason Prince.
And for Marshwood, we have Maddie, James, Eva, and Mackie with alternates Max, and they're coached by Heidi Early-Hershey.
Our competition has four rounds.
The toss up round, the head to head round, and the category round, also the lightning round, that's the fun one.
We'll start with the toss up round, all answers are worth 10 points and this is the only round with no point deductions for wrong answers.
Players must wait for me to complete the question, and if one team answers incorrectly, the other team will be given a chance to answer.
