Last year we had an idea that we wanted to do a quilt show for the public.

So what you're experiencing here is our quilt show today is International Quilting Day, and we are down here at the Craft district and we have coats on display and we're also having demonstrations.

We have volunteers from our guild who are here to show the public different techniques.

We have some things related to colors.

So the way colors change a quilt similar to the way a pattern might change a quilt.

We also have something that we refer to as a bed turning where we have a number of books that are lying on a makeshift bed, which is a table.

And guild members are turning them back.

So you can see the different techniques and different variety of clubs, the ones that are not hanging.

I think it's very exciting to be a part of the crafting community here in Duluth.

There's such a great wide variety of different artists and talents and and things that there's always something going on.
