8/18/2020 | 39m 1sVideo has Closed Captions

Gyan Riley performs the work of his father, minimalist composer Terry Riley.

Join us for a celebration of minimalist composer Terry Riley, originally filmed by Lena Rudnick at the 2014 River to River Festival and curated by National Sawdust prior to their opening. The composer’s son, Gyan, performs solo on acoustic guitar, as well as with Tracy Silverman on violin. The performance ends with Terry Riley joining on piano for a trio improvisation that is not to be missed!
