The King Saul statue at the NC Museum of Art receives a special guest.
The NCMA recently acquired the masterwork sculpture of King Saul Under the Influence of the Evil Spirit. It was purchased from Rendcomb College, a boarding school in Gloucester, England, where it had resided since it was carved in 1865. A graduate of the school, now living in the States, is one of the early visitors to see the statue.
