If a well known Eastern Kentucky lawyer says he will run against Rogers, pillar, storm says he will formally announced his candidacy on July 4th in Prestonsburg.
On Facebook, Pillars door criticized Congressman Rogers for his vote in favor of President Trump's tax and budget bill.
Quote, he voted for this all out assault on the less fortunate and our poverty stricken congressional district, which included slashing benefits in exchange for tax cuts for billionaires, unquote.
Pillars door also notes that Rogers will be 89 years old in 2026, and he questions whether Rogers will be able to finish another two year term.
