New Bern school works to recover from the pandemic by implementing “Bounce Forward Zone.”
The Peletah Academic Center for Excellence, also known as PACE, is a private school in New Bern centered around trauma-informed learning. One innovative solution that has come out of the pandemic is the “Bounce Forward Zone,” a resilience project for children that utilizes arts, drama, and music in an effort to build an infrastructure of coping skills and mechanisms.
