An additional vaccine dose could help those with severely compromised immune systems

According to the CDC, cancer patients, organ transplant recipients, people with advanced or untreated HIV and others with conditions or who take medications that weaken the immune system are all eligible. Essex County gave out more than 350 booster vaccines on Saturday. As of Monday afternoon, it had already administered an additional 300.
