Another Kentucky Democrat says the presidential race is back on track for Democrats.
We caught up with the former treasurer for the Kentucky Democratic Party and former Louisville Metro Council member David Tandy at his home today.
There's a lot to be proud of in terms of what the Biden-Harris administration has been able to do, and that's why he decided it was best for him to to step aside and to pass the torch to Kamala Harris.
She has what it takes.
There's no question about that.
He sees, you know, work with foreign leaders in her role as vice president.
Not only is she African-American, her father was of Jamaican descent, but her mother is south South Asians.
I think that really speaks to who we are as a country.
America is not a monolithic.
We are not just one people, but we're an amalgamation of many, much as there have been a lot of handwringing and some consternation as it relates to what is going to what's the Democratic Party going to do as it relates to who our standard bearer is going to be.
I think that what you see out of all of this is that now the focus and attention is back on the Democratic side of of the race, what we have to offer, because everybody already knows what's what's on the the Republican side.
This is about the future.
And I think that's where the Harris led ticket is going to be able to offer a message about that.
What do we want to see going forward as opposed to relitigating grievances from the past?
