Stricter requirements proposed for NJ gun owners
NJ lawmakers Thursday introduced tough gun reform legislation in a highly anticipated response to the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling earlier this year that expanded the right to carry firearms outside the home. The bill would expand the vetting process for concealed-carry permit in NJ, ban guns from two dozen-plus public spaces and beef up requirements for anyone wanting to carry a gun in public.
