New Jersey's Megal Mall is Open… Sort Of

Season 2019 Episode 29 | 26m 52sVideo has Closed Captions

The American Dream mall opens its door to the public for the first time.

First it was Xanadu, then it became American Dream. Now, after 17 years, the attraction in the Meadowlands is finally open. Partially. It’s not completed yet. There is no certificate of occupancy, construction continues and the building isn't fully leased out. Will the few attractions that are open be enough of a draw to get people interested? And will the roads support it?
