Affordable treatment options for the clientele that the Isaiah House serves and the clientele that the likes to rescue mission serves really don't exist to the capacity that they need to for these clients to access care in a timely fashion.
And that's really the big issue, is that, yes, there's there are providers who will provide care to these clients, but let's say they need access to a dental appointment.
Well, that can take months and months and months to get them into where they need to go see a physician.
Great.
Well, we'll see you in seven months.
They don't really have the capacity to wait that long.
And so our goal is to remove those barriers to timely treatment and to be that provider for them.
There's people's feet falling off on them.
It's sad, sad, sad and just too worried about getting that next fix in and just, you know, and it's scary help.
And that's the key to life.
You know, if you want to live, you're going to contribute here.
You know, keep your heart out.
And when I was so lost in the madness, I did not care about my health.
You know, I didn't care at all saying that works in mysterious ways.
We have a tremendous number, hundreds of clients that we serve at as they have locations across the state who are going to be reintegrating back into Fayette County, who we are committed to helping them find affordable transitional housing and then continuing their care with us at facilities like this.
That will obviously be scheduled.
We will also be serving clients of the mission on a walk in basis, so they may serve meals here or provide clothing here or access to hygienic products and say, hey, you know, when's the last time you went to the doctor?
Because they just pursuant to their relationship with them, they may be brought into the loop about some things that that person, that individual struggling with and say, have you considered going up to the Isaiah House?
They would love to care for you.
I certainly hope that the that the impact for this collaboration that we're doing with the mission will have a tremendous positive impact on curbing homelessness.
Obviously, we look at every single person experiencing homelessness on an individual level and if we are able just to help one person and change one life for the better than it's worth it.
We need it.
You know, it's sad out here right now and just from everything that's going on from north to south, that makes sense.
It's just it's scary out here.
If you have no money, you can't get no help.
And this place is going to take care of you.
The new clinic is scheduled to open this fall.
