Carl Gawboy's new exhibit “New Paintings, Old Stories” is now on view at American Indian Community Housing Organization's Dr. Robert Powless Cultrual Center. I just love doing.
And when I see all the work together and nicely presented, nicely framed, hanging on the wall and anticipating people coming to see it, it's just a high that I'll never get over Well, I started off in art.
My mother said I started drawing before I could even walk, and I was influenced when I was a child by the covers of Saturday Evening Post and Outdoor Life magazine and comic books of all sorts.
I had health problems for a long time and for about two years I didn't paint.
I started painting again in the spring of 2021.
And so all the new work here I did in the summer, in my case, I do a lot of painting from memory.
One thing that an artist can do is they can clean up this memory and make things tidy, and you got a great deal of control over how you interpret the past The Slice, from WDSE WRPT.
