The Jodie Cache Multi-Purpose Training Center is named after the Calloway County Sheriff's deputy, who was killed in the line of duty in 2022.
Friends at yesterday's dedication say it's a fitting tribute.
Today we honor remember my friend Joey Cash with the opening of the Multi-Purpose Training Center and his name.
This ring sadly stands as a testament to the importance that Jody placed on law enforcement community bettering ourselves.
I can't tell you how many times I've been told about him and his life, and what a great man he is and was, some of my closest friends went to church with, him and his family with Sunday school, New Mass.
So virtually.
And I can see their loss, as well as his family's loss as governor is important to me that every family across the state isn't just a he also feels like every single law enforcement officer is as safe as possible, and that their family feels that they're safe, even on those dangerous, jars.
Every day, over 8000 Pataki heroes put on the uniforms and in the past, ready to place in the cells between us and Asia.
We owe it to them to provide the very best resources for their safety.
He encouraged all he came across to learn more and say, you deserve every opportunity to better themselves.
He shared that in order to better myself, you have take care of yourself.
Jerry was a staunch believer in the mindset of taking care of yourself, so you may take care of serve others.
This is evident in of any encounters I now have in the work I do in resiliency session.
Time and time again, when I come across an officer that he through our dispatcher for all over the Commonwealth being injured, they all share a wonderful story of Joey, but they all have one common segment.
I promise, Joey, I take care of myself.
That's why I'm taking this class.
Even to this day.
Jerry self serving.
Serving his brothers and sisters, making communities safer, and van wash roller derby cash is legacy.
This is remember at the Kentucky Law Enforcement Memorial right here in Richmond.
There 588 men and women have their names on that memorial.
And they're the reason why was so important.
This facility to be well.
The roughly 43,000 square foot facility offers state of the art technology for specialized training.
