The New York Health Act would create a single-payer health care system in New York that would replace all other private and public insurance plans with a state-run structure. Dan Clark, managing editor of New York NOW, spoke with two of the bill's supporters: Gail Myers from Statewide Senior Action and Carlyn Cowen from the Chinese American Planning Council.
