Opera singer Regina Resnik (1922 - 2013) traces the history of the Jewish section in Venice, Italy, created in 1515, which gave the world the term "ghetto." The Fascist period is shown in rare footage of Hitler and Mussolini’s first meeting in Venice in 1934. Painter and sculptor Arbit Blatas' bronze bas-reliefs, entitled The Monument of the Holocaust, memorialize Venetian Jewish victims.
