NY State School Boards Association Executive Director Tim Kremer talks school budgets.
NY voters went to the polls to vote on their local school budgets and the results are right in line with the passage rate since the enacting of the tax cap five years ago. 36 districts had proposals with tax levies that exceeded the cap, requiring a 60% 'supermajority' to pass and 78% of those were successful. We discuss with NY State School Boards Association Exceutive Director Tim Kremer.
