News Wrap: Trump won’t punish Saudi prince or cancel arms sales over Khashoggi murder
In our news wrap Tuesday, President Trump signaled he will not sanction Saudi Arabia’s crown prince for the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, nor cancel arms sales to the country. Trump said breaking with Saudi Arabia would hurt the U.S. economy and jeopardize efforts to contain Iran. Meanwhile, two of the president's lawyers confirmed Trump has submitted his answers in the Russia probe.
