In our Thursday news wrap, another firestorm has erupted around former Trump attorney Michael Cohen, who told Congress last week that he had never sought a presidential pardon. Now his lawyer, Lanny Davis, said Cohen did discuss a pardon with the president’s team. Also, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau denied he applied inappropriate pressure on his attorney general to settle a bribery case.
