In our news wrap Thursday, President Trump’s campaign manager, Paul Manafort, acknowledged that he offered “private briefings” to a Russian billionaire with Kremlin connections, but a spokesman said no briefings ever occurred. Also, after Congress pressed Facebook for details about ads bought by a Russian agency last year, the company said it will turn over the contents of some 3,000 ads.
