Learn Moreabout PBS online sponsorship- I think about the first time I walked into Darryl's Corner Bar and Kitchen, for people who know it maybe as Bob The Chef's, it was something that was just so special to me and what I knew what was going on here was more than food.
It was more than alcohol.
It was more than entertainment.
When we think about the true sense of community between celebrations and bereavements, political campaigns and anniversaries, we celebrate it all here.
And it's not unique to the fact that a lotta restaurants and a lotta neighborhood venues like ours do the same for every neighborhood.
The unique piece is is that when you only have eight or when you have less than 2%, we've got a problem 'cause we all need our space to go to.
We all want to be able to share what we have.
And so, yeah, it would definitely be an issue if we were gone, if Wally's was gone, if Suya Joint was gone and you didn't get your good African food.
It definitely would be an issue, and so, yeah, it's bigger than me.
It's bigger than any one business.
This is a city issue.
This is bigger than that.
