Some lawmakers seek more gun control, GOP senator wants less

Sen. Ed Durr recently introduced bills that would lessen some gun restrictions in New Jersey, including a measure that would eliminate the 30-day waiting period for handgun purchases. Durr (R-Gloucester), who said current laws end up punishing law-abiding citizens and not criminals, said he knows his bills have no chance of advancing in a Democratic-controlled Legislature.
