But Hoboken voters reject referendum on major borrowing to build new school

Repair work will move forward on a Cresskill school building that was damaged during Tropical Storm Ida. In a referendum, voters there approved $21 million to fix the middle and high school building, which suffered flood damage from the storm. It was a different story in Hoboken, where a plan for major borrowing to build a new high school was rejected by the city’s voters.
