Monday marks the tenth time Gov. Phil Murphy extended the statewide public health emergency since the coronavirus pandemic began. It keeps the state in a position to continue fighting the second wave, which appears to be leveling off according to the newest data from health officials. The rate of transmission dropped below 1.0 for the first time in months.
