New Jersey will share in a $4.3 billion historic settlement along with New York, Pennsylvania and a dozen other states. Attorney General Gurbir Grewal says New Jersey stands to receive $110 million. As part of the agreement the Sackler family will have to surrender ownership of the bankrupt Purdue Pharma drug company and detail the role they played in the opioid epidemic.
