Advocates say there's a long way to go to make NJ train stations fully accessible
Improvements are coming to five NJ Transit stations, including Newark Penn Station, after a settlement between the transit agency and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey. A 2017 survey found hundreds of violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act, including more than 40 at Newark Penn Station.
