NJ gets $588M to fix water infrastructure

Low- and no-interest loans will go to 28 projects across the state

New Jersey is getting more than a half-billion dollars in state and federal loans to spend on 28 water infrastructure projects across the state. Officials announced the $588 million financing package at a refurbished Moorestown treatment plant, a project financed in part by one of the loans. Funding will also go to projects in Newark, Trenton, Jersey City, Hoboken, and more.
