Millions of unemployed residents are waiting to hear the fate of a $1 trillion stimulus plan being introduced Monday by Senate Republicans in Washington. It’s likely to include another $1,200 stimulus check and moratorium on evictions. But the extra $600 that’s been going into unemployment checks? That would be slashed by a third. Republicans say it’s a disincentive to go back to work.
