Dane County Clerk Scott McDonell talks about the logistics of adding an election in 2020.

Dane County Clerk Scott McDonell recently wrote a letter to Wisconsin Legislators asking them not to add a presidential primary election in the spring of 2020. In speaking with clerks across the state, McDonell says that large counties and small municipalities alike would struggle to turn around three elections in three months and that it would cause voter confusion.
