It was their ninth region title and fourth and sixth seasons.

Others regions will be clinched to night.

John thoughts, on the last week of the regular season.

I can't even believe I'm saying that.

Well, I'm just going to look at it this way.

Alright, you look at the desk, that's all you really need to see.

I was not even ready yet.

So this is me.

Me and all of my brackets and things that were working your way into the evening.

You've got this, all the permutations coming in all of the final stuff coming out.

If I could read my own handwriting, I have to have my computer with my left hand.

Alright, let's take a peek at it.

Let's show you what you know, alright, clinch County, we know that with swamp war, with the swamp or loss to Charlton County, that means that they end up as your to seat, you work your way through there.

That's where MCA comes in.

So you could have a matchup that has happened a couple of times in the early rounds of the playoffs.

I remember game went to overtime.

I had a lot of free football attached.

You could have a second round matchup with clinch County and MCA.

Lurking down here once again, Christian Heritage, there are the three seed out of region.

7, remember, we talked about that, by that Lincoln County has that's because no fourth team, but the third team is Christian Heritage.

They're kind of hanging out down here to see how the rest of this bracket Works itself out here in the upper right-hand corner.

So that's the way it's going to look in the upper right-hand section at things as we kind of mapped everything out.

So let's go bottom, right?

And show you how it's going to look when it comes to the possibilities.

From these guys advancing.

What happens?

After that, we know that clinch County and MCA, they may work their way through.

Christian, Heritage is going to have a bit of a work there, but you see linear County, we mentioned linear County.

That was a part of the discussion here, working their way through as a three seed.

And then Wilcox County, Rob's Tow and Stow show.

They had a really slow start with their non-region schedule, but when you have success sometimes it's hard to find folks that will play you rough, start and season 1, but they caught fire and season to their region play.

Which means that Wilcox is here and it sets up possibly Once again, if you're one seeds, work your way through Darren offered here in Sly, County, double-digit wins last season down in Elavil chasing after once again a high-ranking early, got some losses in the middle of the season but have caught full song here.

So as you look at how things are in the low, right?

As you're following along, in this particular bracket with division, two and single a, you could have Wilcox County.

Work your way through, you could have Sly County and that's a coin flip.

A couple of matchups down the line when it comes to what.

You're at here on the right, hand side of that bracket, when it comes to division two, Okay.

John we are now going to go to the double a bracket.

I promise it earlier and now it is time to talk about to a all right?

And so you've got double A and how things are laid out here.

We kind of gotten a lot of folks filled in here.

North Cobb Christian will.

Look at the left-hand side of the bracket North Cobb Christian as the number two team out of region 6 Putnam County the to team out of region for great season for Sean, Pope in a region that was incredibly competitive.

Then also, That Fitzgerald as a possible matchup there for Putnam County.

If they work their way through in the second round, we're going to lead into what's going to happen down there, low left, we're going to work clockwise.

So let's go upright, Northeast make.

And once again, one of the top rushers in the state, you're going to have to figure out how to defend that.

Washington counties, the 4C Tamplin counties, the one once again to great football towns with Baxley and Sandersville Robert Edwards in his first season at Washington County right there as your for, but you've got Callaway Working once again, rough early season schedule, with Calloway.

And you end up with Calloway once again work in a region title down low, it's Thomson and South Atlanta.

That's a part of the discussion as well, but we know what's going to happen and the low left section, don't we?

Because that's where our guest is there, you see that one seat.

Fellowship Christian played, Union County tonight, got the 35 to 14 when, but they were already region a chance.

We have head coach, Tim McFarlin here to talk to us about your game tonight and Entering the region coach.

Tell us how you're feeling.

We're doing well.

Well, yeah, we actually played last night.

It was a chance for us to play on a Thursday night because of, you know, the stated mentioned that about officials and shortages.

So we played last night, I got to spend a night at home with my wife watching you guys see if all that is that's the correct answer.

And I have learned that over time, that you got to spend time with your wife watching, so how much mapping and combinations and permutations did you, did you figure out after that big win last night?

Because in your, in your quadrant down there, low left, you've got a team in Spencer that has won the first time ever.

A region title in GHSA territorial over in Columbus, you've got Lainey.

That's a part of the discussion but Spencer is the team to me.

That's the one that's lurking below.

You low left?

Yeah, there's a lot of really good teams and double-a and we've enjoyed our first year in it.

You know the first part of the season in the non-region play it took us a little while to get our feet up, understand then.

Once we got into the region and had to play Athens Academy in our second region game that was the game that really kind of got us moving in the right direction.

So we were able to wrap it up last night, we're not sure what's going to happen because the region we match up with tonight.

I think there's several games going on and I think there was a three-way tie going in.

I'm not sure what their tiebreaker is.

Yeah, there was math involved and as I sit here and I'm trying to figure out the math but yes there was math, there is math and we'll all sorted out together you are absolutely correct.

Alright, coach being a one seed.

Pressure is on.

What do you need to work on before the postseason?

Well, you just want to be playing well, this time of year and we are we started playing.

Well like I said after we got out of the we toughened up the front end of our schedule, picked up played Trinity and played st. Francis played love it.

Try to play a couple schools that were larger classifications to get us ready for the playoffs.

So this has been a new change for us to fellowship and we're excited about it.

So going into the region Play, We felt like we had already been battle tested, We Are Young.

We're starting three freshmen on the Enter side of the ball and have a freshman running back.

That's spending time with a senior back there and they've been a really good combination for us.

We have to tell back system and so we have a lot of Youth and we've enjoyed it.

Let me spend a lot of fun.

Several the guys that I've been with an earlier jobs, we're back together again and we're really having a good time this year.

We look forward to the playoffs.

We know we're going to run into some really good teams as early as the second round and even the first round you know, the region were matching.

A up with if you look at those guys, the scores indicate how you know, they've all beat each other and and it's all over the place.

So there's a lot of good football being played in the Northwest part of Georgia.

And the first round is not going to be a given for anybody either 7 + 35.

+ 0 in region play, you can certainly see that you guys are having fun and you've got some momentum coach.

We mentioned Fellowship, Christian right now we're keeping an eye on Mount Paran, Christian, and Washington.

That would be your for seed to go up against Tim McFarlin at the beginning here in the matchup that they would have coming out of the blocks.

I mentioned Lainey, because that region that Lanie is in with Thomson and Putnam County.

And Laney, that has been a three way dance coming into the business end of the schedule Lane, With the loss late and all the math, they are.

Now the three Putnam counties, the to Thomson is your region champ and then Spencer great.

Great story with the greenway vowels of Spencer 02 Spencer.

One of the Legends in the Gia, had they Stadium now completely totally renovated.

Oh, dispenser stadium is down there now.

Spencer, the high school named after him for titles, was it Hannah and the Gia if my memory?

If if you your math was correct.

So for Gia titles.

For the Green Wave owl was for and so Spencer first-ever region championship in their history in the GHSA.

That's what I mentioned that's what's lurking for fellowship.

If you want to take your number one seeds and move them forward down, you look at Fellowship Christian Spencer but Spencer has to deal with the pressure of being in the playoffs as a one seed.

Yes.

It's at home and you're a region champ but how do you respond to season 3?

That's the question for me when it comes to Spencer as you lay things out there.

And that particular quadrant as we look low left in double-a.

Let's Zoom back out to see the big picture in double-a John and who are?

Well, you're waiting on a couple of folks.

Obviously, you're looking at what you're seeing it region, 7, I think Rock Mark was going to be plugged in as region 7 number one.

So what that would do is that would put them on the upper left-hand side.

So you could have Rock Martin Fitzgerald looking at the, the 21 seeds in your upper left.

Then Coach McFarland, mention Fellowship.

Christian has the number one their innate.

You have Athens Academy Union County and East Jackson coming in behind we'll keep an eye on that.

There's math involved in region 7, North Murray model and Fannin County all finished it for and to Fannin County got a win last night.

Chad cheated on the rebels.

So Chad if you're watching text me the Hat.

Yes Reggie the mouth of region 7 when it comes to that, one in double-a behind Callaway, you're looking at a combination of Eagle's Landing.

In Colombia Landmark Christian, we mentioned, what's going on in Region 4 and Region, 3, one of the toughest regions around.

Once again, we're looking at some math, looks like Pierce county is going to be the two, but is it?

Tattnall is it Vidalia?

Is it Brantley?

Who lost the night?

Is a two and four region to who's going to fall in behind the Northeast and Ace.

Charter is what l'm going to be the floor.

We're going to work on the mat there, as well.

So that's what you're looking at with the holes that we have in the regions with double eye.

Right now let's go up one classification to Triple-A Region one is done, but I see a lot of words, math on here.

Dawson County with the win last week over Lumpkin.

They are your region champ in region, 7 Lumpkin one tonight if my math is correct.

That means that they're 72 and they'll work their way low right into Carver Columbus and Harlem, Mary persons got a big win tonight.

They would get Thomasville Mary persons, Pike County.

That was the game that decided the for in their particular region.

But you see Morgan County plugged into the mix right now as the number two team in Region 4.

So you've got some interesting new faces upper section Dawson County and Sid Maxwell.

Morgan County with a to Mary persons and Thomasville then.

Look you've got Stevens County hips above, Crisp County load Rd Calvary Day.

We talked about that and we can plug in Carver Atlanta, and Carver Atlanta and Sandy Creek and Douglas and Cedar Grove.

Going forward with the window we had on the web tonight.

I'm trying to make this as complicated as I can for you Joshua.

Now we're going to go to 5A with some more crazy things happen in region.

1.

The Jenkins, Statesboro game was cancelled, due to threatening Snap Chat messages.

So Jenkins is a three seed.

Statesboro is the 4 Seed where and coffee played for the one and two tonight in region 1.

So John, tell us what's going on in this one.

Once again, I think five a has been the one that has worked itself out the best here.

You look at some of the matchups and we'll probably Circle back to this one upper left.

You've got Calhoun, that's their Jones County with their offense, but they've got to go to Waycross.

That's big Jefferson.

We followed their story all season long, Dutch town, with their defense, low left upper right.

You've got Warner Robins who work their way through as a to And then North Side Columbus and work your way through all the way down to the right hand side.

Cartersville in Cambridge lurking there as well.

That's going to be the fun part 58 for me really competitive.

Especially with their Opening match up sticking with five.

A we have Northside Columbus head coach Andrew oropeza here to chat with us off tonight, but they are the five, a region 3, Champs 9 and 14, and 0 in region play and coach.

I always like to ask how the heck, does it feel to clinch the region and another one calling from home?

And we had a bye week to kind of, you know, celebrate a little bit and then get get rested up some.

So, so coach with what you've been able to develop their at Northside Columbus.

It's been really great to see.

You've had a couple of Seasons that you were around 500, but this, Seems to be that season where everything in the messaging has broken through.

What's it been?

Like to see the program developed, the way that it has with you, they're in charge these last couple of Seasons, right?

Yes.

Kind of each year, we've gotten a little better, you know, and had some injuries.

I heard his last year.

We were kind of starting to see us kind of, get over the hump.

And then this year with a, with a simulated team, we were looking forward to the opportunity to get better, and we knew we had a good group coming back and they really Bought into what we're trying to do with.

We've had a good season this far because of that, after having the week to capitalize on rest, what are you needing to do to prepare for next week in the postseason right?

Just get back to work.

You know, we've got a good opponent in Tucker and they've got a rich tradition and Rich history of winning there and they're well, coached.

And they've got a good football team and we're looking for the opportunity to compete against him on next Saturday.

So we definitely, you know, change your question will be getting back to work and watching film and and get the boys ready to go watching film from the playroom, their coach.

All right so he's got Tucker is 14.

He's got the Tucker Tigers Tucker and a Mountain play last night.

And with the Thursday night action that we saw in DeKalb County, we now know that the for is Tucker, Tucker is going to travel to North Side Columbus.

That's your opening round match up here.

But once again, we talked about lurking, lurking, you've got Warner Robins who started out really roughly in season number one, their non-region schedule.

They're trying to settle on a quarterback with the coaching changes that were there trying to get everybody to full song.

They did that in season two, well enough to be the number two seed in their region.

Jenkins Warner Robins Tucker, Northside Columbus.

So I know a lot of folks into great football towns in Warner Robins and Columbus are looking at Warner Robins and Northside working their way through.

And that one below Northside Columbus, we can fill in this one here, you're 23, Dalton and Loganville.

Dalton is your three seed here Logan villager to seed here, so Dalton and Loganville and then down low Greater Atlanta Christian with a loss tonight.

They drop to the four seed, they've got Creekside so a lot of folks Looking at coach Dixon and Creekside there is your one Dalton here Loganville here.

Loganville had a really good season and a key loss in region, play that not going to the two seed.

So you're looking at Creekside Northside Warner Robins there, in the upper right-hand section in 5A.

John time to bump up one classification, 26a and TCC Northside was a big game tonight in region 1 region for is done Region.

8 is done, what is happening here in 6A.

A on the brackets.

Looking at linear Saint Pius and Thomas County Central.

I know a lot of folks have been seeing what Justin Rogers has been able to do at Thomas County Central Region, Chan, with the win tonight over Northside Warner, Robins low left.

You've got Sprayberry in Gainesville and you see what Josh niblet has been able to do in his first season in Georgia.

High school football.

Gainesville is another talking point in not just north Georgia, but across the state and across the southeast.

Josh nibbled has come in and taken care of business.

Or one seed, there a region champ out of the blocks, you've got North Atlanta, and Lovejoy is a 23, Garrett, Grady and Brunswick low left, that just takes care of the left-hand side of the bracket and 5A.

We've got some traffic on the right hand side as well, but that's just the low.

That's the left-hand side here in five Asian, okay?

And that one seed you saw there on the top, right?

That was Hughes playing Paulding County this evening.

56 223 was the final score there but they were already the region.

How does it feel to be those region Champs and get another win to just put the cherry on top tonight.

I met the kids deserve that.

We're really hard the kids and the coaches both you know bought in this regular season for the regular season while we were able to finish to know for the first time in school history which is a big deal as also the first round.

So how how did you divide your coaching staff?

Did you guys tonight sit there and go?

It was definitely chaotic.

Alright Riverwood and Woodward Academy that you're 14 here.

So a lot of folks looking at John Hunt and what we've seen from Woodward Academy working their way through, Effingham County.

A familiar name, John Ford knows what it means to do.

Deep runs into the playoffs.

Effingham County is a two seed.

They grunt they've got a home game but the possibility lurks that's our verb of the night against Woodward Academy down-low Blessed Trinity, North Forsyth as your 23.

Then Hughes were waiting once again.

Math is involved.

And so, we'll find out who that for seat is when it comes to Hughes and their first-round matchup.

So, once again, we'll go bottom right and we'll show you what's going on there and the don't have necessarily Sara Lee got more math involved.

Yes, ma'am, we're still here working, man.

Well, I never stopped working the work, never stops.

Well, how does it feel to be heading back to the postseason?

Well, you know, this senior class has just been awesome.

803 reason, championships in a row, but like they said, when I ended up the trophy look tonight, they said coach our works not done because they're not happy how our last two All Seasons ended and we felt like we let a couple games slip away so they're determined to be prepared next week and I we've got a tough first round.

Matchup looks like somebody Denmark.

So how much when it comes to getting prepared for a game like this?

To get ready for the third season.

How much time do you give yourself to take a breath before you prepare for Denmark?

Or are you guys pretty much just they're locked in right now?

Sequestered.

We've got to think about the next round.

How much time do you give yourself to breathe before the third season starts?

Well, we actually we work a week ahead.

So we've already been working on those guys, even though we didn't know that it was going to be, then we kind of put everything into computer because tomorrow morning our players and our coaches will be here about 7:00 to watch film and get And so they've got about eight or nine, our window to enjoy it.

And I don't know about enjoy it, but get some sleep and we're back to work in the morning.

Looking back on this season.

What are you most proud of?

I'm proud of our persevere, some proud of our kids, you know, you hear all the time next man up.

And, you know, it's about the culture.

It's about a team game but when, you know, our quarterback Malik, I went down in the second game mode.

You know, a lot of people could have looked around the room and say, hey, we are our seasons over, we have, but we had a sophomore named Nick groom, said stepped in and our older guys, we've got 32 seniors that loved on him, and we brought him along each week a little bit at a time.

And I'm product to what coach Clark's done.

In our defense played great defense, to give him time to grow.

But I'm calm, I'm proud of our culture of our program that we can overcome lose and probably one of the best players that's ever played at North High School.

I know that he is and still continue to win and be able to win the region without him playing every Friday night.

Wow.

Well coach while special season and we cannot wait to see what's next for you guys.

North Paulding is a region.

Champions your one up here but then you've Valdosta and West, like this has got to be one of the toughest regions of the toughest quadrants that we've seen so far tonight.

This one is going to be one to watch the entire time with all these teams in here.

So once again all the heavyweights in that particular section, that one's going to be a stout one to pay attention to as we go.

How does it feel to clinch that region one 6A title?

Feels great piece is also feeling for a program for kids for Community.

I mean, this is, this is a big one for specialist at the pump.

The way we get to hear everything from January on is big win for the program.

So you know coach we've followed your journey from Griffin, to Jones to South Georgia where you've had some stops.

And now, you're at Thomas, County Central, What has it been like for you to continue to have the growth in your career, that you've had?

How do you think that you have grown and matured as a coach in all of these different stops?

And now they're at Thomas County Central, we're out of the blocks, you're doing what you're doing.

Well, the thing is doing so much of experience it, right?

I mean that's what life's about and and so I've been blessed and some great skills and great programs at Griffin.

And and then you go to John Holmes, County.

I've got to build something really special, and I learned so much from they're doing that.

Then obviously going to call quit that man.

Did we lose them?

What's that is what happens when you're on the bus trying to travel.

Well, we lost them but let's take a look at that.

Six a quadrant and see what is going on.

Yeah, but now it's great to send great tonight.

No one region play the great to see the the community support their Justin Rogers working his way from Moultrie to to Thomasville to work there at the jackets nest and you saw all the support that he had behind him.

I'm guessing let's say they might have been on Georgia 300 or something like that.

Get some kind of a signal, right?

Let's take a peek at their, their, their bracket at how it lays out linear in Roswell.

We get to fill in some holes here, linear, and Roswell Roswell.

We've been keeping an eye on them all season long here on football Fridays.

One of the top ranked teams in 6A across the board.

Either second or third, traditionally in the 68 pole they've got the linear long horns, coming out of the blocks then st. Pius is your to losing that Region.

Game to Marist, Marist ends up being the region champ.

St. Pius is your number two, but once again, Thomas County Central.

So Hannah.

So lurking Roswell.

They work their way through Thomas County Central if they work their way through soul.

In a so you've got Thomas County Central and Roswell two, heavyweights possibly working their way through that quadrant Hannah some, that's some heavy stuff right there.

We want to go back to seven a because this one was wild one in the last games of the regular season.

Tonight, what stands out to you?

The most is this thing gets Out in pain.

I'll just I mean, you look at that, you look at the heavy weights and that there is no, there is no week quadric.

You look at Buford and Carrollton down, low left.

You look at North Gwinnett and Colquitt in the upper left with Brookwood there as well.

To me in 7A that's going to be just a must-watch when it comes to the postseason and then low, right?

We kind of got into it a little bit but not into whole lot of detail.

You've got Camden and East.

Can't wait up.

You've got Hillgrove and Grayson.

You got Mountain View and Norcross and then you got our next guest, waiting to find out the math that's involved with region, five, and the number four team that comes from there to go.

Yeah, we just got back not too long ago, so I made it back to my office.

All right.

Well, you're all smiles, clinching.

The region tell me about your game tonight.

Yeah.

You know, just a hard-fought game all the way around Lambert has of them.

They're very good football.

Team, they play hard.

They play with passion.

They don't make a lot of mistakes and we knew we had to come out and play well and our kids answered the Bell tonight.

So I couldn't be happier for them and all three phases.

What's it been like for you in this season where there's transition, your learning, what it's like to be a head coach graduation, all of the moving parts and it was a bit of an up-and-down start early.

But you hit full song in region play.

What is this ride been like for you to get to this point as a region champ and be a number one seed?

Yeah, it's been a wild ride, you know, thankfully, I was able to hire two top-of-the-line coordinators, which allow me just to step back and try to focus on learning how to be a head coach and focus on those small things.

And, you know, early on every year, we're going to play the top teams in the country and our record did not look good early on, but all three of our losses are the top 100 teams in the nation.

And we felt like that helped us out tonight.

You know, we were able to go toe-to-toe for an entire game and not flat.

In a championship game because of some of those lessons, we learned early on so we'll continue to do that and continue to, you know, make sure we're battle tested and ready for big games.

Like this Milton was the 2020 17 a runner-up.

We know you have a new regime, what's going to be your message to this team heading down the stretch?

Yeah, you know, I feel like our team is just not peeking, you know, we came into this year we only returned one starter on off that score on defense.

We had such a young and inexperienced team, but the message now is we're ten games in.

So we're no longer young and inexperienced.

We've actually grown up a little bit.

We've gained some experience and we're ready to try to play our best football during these upcoming playoffs.

Coach Reeves, it's not easy.

Coming into a new program and being undefeated in region play.

You so much for calling in and if you're just now peeking we cannot wait to see what's next for Milton.

Okay, John once again, let's zoom in onto that quadrant and see what competition that they've got.

Yep.

Alright, so let's go low, right?

Milton right here.

So you know that you tease the coach, he comes in almost like Kismet.

It's almost like Karma that something like that happens.

Milton were waiting for the math.

On the for seat is to who they'll get in the opening round.

Norcross in Mountain View.

We mentioned Norcross once again, The lost tonight.

Bumps him do a two seat, but Mountain View.

Great season for Mountain View, there are three Mountain View hits the road.

That's a Gwinnett County match up with a 2 and a 3 seed there.

Grayson one seed Camden County the two seed Jeff Heron and with two losses to start the season, one of them to Colombia a lot of folks were wondering about Camden County.

After those first two losses Camden County has hit full song and they've knocked off Valdosta a couple weeks ago 1714.

So They're the two in region, 1, so East, Coweta is going to have to travel as our dear friend.

Tommy Palmer, used to say a pack a lunch and a dinner in this is probably pack a lunch and dinner and a midnight snack trip from Sharpsburg to Kingsland next week.

East Coweta and Camden County is your two.

Three Grayson you're one Norcross the to Milton no one.

So that's what that looks like.

Hannah as we look at this particular bracket and that particular quadrant with Milton low right in 7A.

Let's go to a bracket that we have.

Not seen yet.

That is a single, a division 1 and John before tonight, the only region that was completed was Region 8.

Yes.

And so you look at Athens Christian, they were the four seed out of that region Irwin County with their win tonight.

They are the one up there.

We can also add that Athens.

Christians opponent is going to be a road trip to Darlington winning region, 7 over, try on tonight.

So darlington's win puts them region.

17, number one will, And try and you got try on as the number two, that's why they are in the lower right-hand corner.

Low left corner, Dade County Rabun County, the Wolverines, have to travel from Trenton to tiger and that's from northwest corner to northeast corner.

That's going to be a bit of a hike.

Screven County losing to met her last night there the two seed bacon County because of the loss to Irwin County.

That's why they are the one for waiting for that match up.

The region champ out of region, two upper Right.

Met her Pepperell.

Elbert County Mount Vernon with their loss today to st. Francis.

That's why they're the four seed.

Bleckley county is your to Commerce and try and we've got that matchup locked down and st. Francis is your region 6 champ and that is why they are in lower right hand corner.

Who else are we waiting on?

We're waiting on.

And that region six were waiting on Region 5, the consistently.

We've got a couple threes and fours once again with math involved.

And so basically it's five, six, seven, eight with a couple of threes and fours, but once again, Sid Maxwell Dawson County, right.

There is a one seed Morgan County with their game against Harlem.

Tonight Morgan County is your to Mary persons, put up a big number tonight against Pike County and you've got Thomasville as your one Stevens County.

We've mentioned West tankersley, in, with everything they're doing in.

OA crisp is going to have a tall order with.

There's Carver Columbus is going to be one of the teams to focus on low, right?

Parliament with the one there, with the win over Morgan County, that's why they are there, which leads us to the upper, right?

Part of the bracket dartie had a hot start.

They kind of stumbled in through the end of region play, which leads us to the last team on that board.

Yeah, we're sticking with our one seed Trend.

That's Calvary Day defeated Beach tonight, 49 23 but it didn't matter because they were already the region 3A Champs.

It looks like he's calling in from home and Coach, you were off tonight.

Well, you played Beach and I got the win.

How did it feel to get that momentum heading into the postseason?

It's great.

Like I told the kids and I, it's always tough to be a to win the region championship, and he just got can't take a pause and enjoy that and be thankful for that.

So, yeah, I mean we knew there was it was last week but you know, You want to finish the season?

Well and play.

Well so tonight was you know Gil would kind of get behind us you know and we didn't players as well as been like that we can play going to win and so they were thankful and proud to be here.

So if my math is correct and don't quote me on this kind of stuff in your bracket in your quadrant Cedar Grove is there if things work their way through over.

The next couple of weeks, it would end up being That incredibly Stout defense going up against your lights out offense and Jake, mer, Klinger with your quarterback in.

Jake, how has he grown this season into the quarterback that he is?

How has he improved?

What has he been working on?

To get him to where he is right now, is a quarterback.

Well you guys through your starter and he just looks like he's really a lot of work in the offseason.

You know.

A lot of folks watching throw.

So you got to kind of Stay Stay, really sharpen his game all through the spring as a you me, any given time we have.

45 gas company throwing the ball.

And so yeah, I thought I think you really, you know, Embrace that I think you helped him mature and then as we go into the season this year, I really think he's the game has slowed down for and it looks like he's, you know, can stand in the pocket really well, looks like he's not and never getting rattled, he's just kind of handle himself very well.

We hired from science state and I think you've done a really good job with Jake or your job be off.

And so But Cal nice of, you know, the charity, having going through all the stuff, you went through this past spring, with all the coaches, seen throw and him, just kind of really, really being on Berkeley time.

Somebody showed received throw and then, you know, just the maturity of them play.

A lot of snaps for us and finally, just kind of, you know, everything slowing down the coast on getting coach to my stem, great job working with him.

So like I'm this is but he's playing really well.

And know that was about your offense or defense has also played lights out this season brag.

Gan them a little bit and what they've been able to do Well today we've got a really good defense of Staff.

Just a lot of guys over there, that just very unselfish.

No one really conduct concern who gets the credit.

They just want to get the job done though.

They're not both sides of like that.

Without really really proud of her defense.

You know we got some guys are very young, Terry Simmons.

The guy that's really good on defense Lon Choi.

Forward is a UCF commit at linebacker know, Terry has committed to Duke and and just a lot of guide, you'll get a lot of young guys on defense as well that are just rolling around.

Play very well.

So it was two guys, a good leaders for some defense and amongst some underclass.

No, there that are playing the hard really well, and again, our staff stand, great job of them.

So, it's a great combination.

We got a good staff working together with some good players and they always give you a shot.

Let's zoom into that quadrant.

Yep.

And it's great to catch up with Mark Stroud and I use the L word with in describing coach Stroud, he's a legend down there on the coast and I know that he would probably sit there and say, no, he's not a legend.

He's one of the great coaches here in the state of Georgia done, fantastic work at Calvary day and they have been putting Some fantastic numbers on offense, you got the chance to brag on offense and defense.

So once again, you're looking at Calvary day and we talked about it with our web game tonight with Cedar Grove, getting the win over Carver Atlanta Cedar, Grove is the one we were waiting on Sandy Creek and Douglas to figure out the two.

And the four Sandy Creek in theory would be the two.

If they beat douglas, douglas would be the for coming out of that region, but using the L word, lurking.

I know when you said the L word earlier.

I was like wait coach Charles lurking.

Yes, he is learning.

Being on the bracket because Cedar Grove in Calvary day.

That is what you're looking at.

With this particular quadrant, a couple of weeks down the line, if the one seeds, hold we.

That's why I wanted to ask him about it.

You've got Cedar Grove hanging right here.

One of the top teams in the country, put through a tough test, tonight against Carver Atlanta, Carver Atlanta then as you're filling in your bracket as the three, they would go in the upper left.

Hand corner.

Of your AAA bracket.

So you'd have Carver Atlanta who was a runner-up last season and Dawson County in that many bracket with Thomasville right there as well.

So that's a tough one upper left.

It has its moments to.

Let's go down a classification.

Back to double-a and John, not.

So filled in yet and we waiting on we are waiting on the math and region seven and eight to work.

Our way through math.

No I don't I do not love, man.

With I failed everywhere.

I failed trigonometry and calculus and and shot in high school.

I know it's really shocking, but you look at what we're seeing here with with double a cook we can fill them in as well.

Cook is going to be as the 2 seed with their win over Worth County tonight.

They will be low right in that first matchup is the two seed.

So we're waiting to see who cook would play as the three in that first match up there in the low right hand section solo, right?

You would have cook, you've got Thomson, you've got South Atlanta and kiwane brown, so you've got offense, and South Atlanta, you've got offense and Thompson.

And then a two seed in cook.

It'll be interesting there with what Byron slack has been able to do with the cook Hornets to get them competitive that we had, the Fitzgerald cook game on as one of our web games this year.

A couple weeks ago, to determine the region title, tremendous work done down there in a jail by Byron slack in that staff.

There are two seed and they're stuck.

Tuck in low, right?

Because of the, to, with the Thomson bulldogs, and South Atlanta Stout offenses.

But Cooks defense could be the answer.

Putnam county is the region for number 2 seed.

They defeated Waco tonight.

What is region for football for someone who hasn't had a chance to see what life is like in that blender this year.

It's been surreal slobberknocker, share the last, you know, few weeks as started off with with Thompson and Laney, playing, 14, 15 14.

And then, you know, we had to go into Thompson and we turned the ball over three times in the third quarter and it kind of got away from us.

But when I turn right around and face Laney last week then Waco last night, so you know, it's been real physical force and some hard-fought battles over the last few weeks.

But you know, I think that we came out of it, you know, pretty healthy.

So got it, you know.

Croton and gear up again and get ready to start it, you know, next week in the playoffs.

That not every game in the opening round of the playoffs, is going to be 89.

It's odds and evens and your odd-numbered classifications your 3 or 5 in your 7.

They're going to be Saturday night, your evens and your single a both divisions are going to be on Friday night.

So single 2 4 & 6 are Friday night 3, 5 & 7 are going to be Saturday night because it was the inverse last year.

Let's take a look at the bracket.

How things are we mentioned Putnam County?

Once again is the two seed falling in there.

Putnam County another great season for our friends in Eatonton and the War eagles.

If they get through their opening round matchup.

They've got Fitzgerald the defending region champ.

There in region, 1 double A so Putnam County and Fitzgerald.

North Cobb, Christian.

That was a two seed that woman was settled fairly early in the evening.

And so North Cobb Christian, Putnam County Fitzgerald.

So we're waiting on someone's but right now, everything is looking at the law, the lower part of this particular quadrant you're looking at Fitzgerald.

And what can they do to repeat?

That is the big element here with this.

Is that you look at Putnam County once again doing great things that they have the last couple of Seasons but you run into that buzz saw.

That's the purple hurricane down there and Fitzgerald will Tucker Pruitt.

That would be a very, very tough second-round matchup.

We're going to wind down the postgame show by bringing it full circle.

We're gonna end up where we started.

That's single a division 2 and let's take a look at this one John.

And what's happened while you were at Manchester Telfair County.

Once again, great story from at Burleson and everybody down there and McRae Turner County can be added.

Ed Turner County will go to early County and that'll be in the opening round in Blakely Macon County was your three seed, Lincoln County the benefit of the by because there's only three teams in region 7.

So you end up with Lincoln County having to wait a couple of weeks when it comes to their matchup.

So you look at Manchester the match up underneath, you're going to have Bowden as your number one seed, out of region 7.

So Manchester Bowden Telfair Turner early Bowden and early County shaping up that one there as well on the right hand side, clinch County and MCA.

Zion will be your to seed out of region 7.

So we add them out signed Caryl to the low right section.

Linear County once again, great season for Kurt Williams, and everybody there in Lakeland, they get had a thing at the Rock and so they don't get the home game.

But they get the three seed, Wilcox County, Mount Zion Carol, Sly County down there in the lower right section.

When it comes to a division to, we're gonna head over to division 1 and heading into this week region.

Eight was the only That was clenched and that was by Rabun County.

They were off this week.
