Follow the savory smoke signals to the city of Whitefish for the largest barbecue contest in Northwest Montana. Guitarist/singer Bonnie Guitar had a hit single in 1957 called Dark Moon Meet a guitar playing legend at home in the northwest. Sandpoint western artist Nelson Boren creates open-ended stories from his paintings, and return to a farm that's literally "for the birds" in Alberta.
