The Rabbit Box Theater, a new Pike Place Market venue, aims to rekindle Seattle's art scene.
The underground space at 94 Pike Street, which had its grand opening on November 3rd, is a full service restaurant, bar and stage that will host curated experiences, including live music, comedy, dinner theater, and literary events for both adults and children.
Co-owner Robynne Hawthorne has high hopes for this new venue, even in the face of an art scene slow to rebound from the pandemic.
She's optimistic that the space will be a beacon for artists and audiences downtown.
Hawthorne said the space is designed to accommodate all kinds of storytelling, including literature, music, and visual art.
She believes at this moment in pandemic history storytelling is especially essential.
