#### Former Congressman Larry Hopkins has died.
Hopkins, a Republican, represented Central Kentucky's Sixth District from 19-79 to 19-93.
He was the 19-91 Republican nominee for governor.
In a statement, U.S.
Senator Mitch McConnell said that Larry Hopkins... quote... "had an independent voice, allowing him to overcome partisan rancor to make friends on both sides of the political aisle."
#### Bourbon County schools will be closed to in-person learning until after Thanksgiving because of increased COVID cases.
They will use five Non-Traditional Instruction days before the holiday.
In-person learning will resume Monday, November 29.
#### 50 social workers rallied today at the state capitol, to protest low pay and high caseloads.
