#### Kentucky is one of seven states that will receive money from the Bloomberg organization to fight drug overdoses.
Bloomberg will spend ten million dollars over five years.
Kentucky had more than 19-hundred drug-related deaths in 2020.
#### Kentucky finished fourth in a new ranking of the most obese and overweight states in America - and Louisville is the 24th heaviest city.
That's according to the WalletHub website.
Kentucky's neighbor West Virginia was the most obese.
And Kentucky was first in obesity among children.
#### On Tuesday, the Local Superintendents Advisory Council passed a draft proposal on how schools should handle corporal punishment.
The draft deals with parental consent and recommends counseling after the punishment.
