#### Kentucky now has more than ten-thousand COVID deaths.
Today's positivity rate is five-point-44 percent, up slightly from last week.
Hospitalizations are down 12 percent over the last seven days.
#### Friday, the U.S. House passed a one-point-two trillion dollar infrastructure package, with Kentucky's congressional Republicans voting no and Democrat John Yarmuth voting yes.
The bill passed in the U.S. Senate in August, with 19 Republicans voting yes - including Senator Mitch McConnell.
Governor Beshear praised the vote, saying it will mean money for Kentucky roads, bridges, broadband, and water systems.
#### The Legislative Research Commission's School Funding Task Force is recommending the state fully fund kindergarten and spend more on school transportation.
