NYC-ARTS visits Jane’s Carousel, located in Brooklyn Bridge Park.

The neighborhood of DUMBO, in Brooklyn, is home to a vibrant arts and culture scene. One of the highlights of the neighborhood is Jane’s Carousel, located in Brooklyn Bridge Park. Jane Walentas – who spent 27 years restoring the carousel and is its namesake – talks about the carousel’s journey from its original home in Youngstown, Ohio to its current residence next to the East River.
