Since joining the New-York Historical Society in June 2004, Louise Mirrer has reinvigorated the museum’s commitment to fostering a greater public understanding of our culture. A historian in her own right, she is “making history matter.” Philippe de Montebello speaks with Mirrer about the museum’s magnificent restoration, its programs and plans for the future.
