On September 5th you can see “La Traviata,” with Natalie Dessay as Violetta and Matthew Polenzani as Violetta’s lover. And on September 7th you’re invited to “Aida” — the Met’s grand-scale staging of Verdi’s epic exploration of life in ancient Egypt.
