The Metropolitan Opera’s annual Summer HD Festival continues its free outdoor screenings of operas on Lincoln Center Plaza. On September 5th you can see “La Traviata,” with Natalie Dessay as Violetta and Matthew Polenzani as Violetta’s lover. And on September 7th you’re invited to “Aida” — the Met’s grand-scale staging of Verdi’s epic exploration of life in ancient Egypt.
