The New York Philharmonic presents “THE ART OF THE SCORE: Film Week at the Philharmonic.”

From September 13th to the 17th, the New York Philharmonic will present “THE ART OF THE SCORE: Film Week at the Philharmonic.” Two iconic films will have their scores performed live during the respective screenings. Leonard Bernstein’s score for West Side Story will be conducted by David Newman. And George Gershwin’s score for Manhattan will be conducted by Alan Gilbert.
